The Amsterdam Airport Express bus 397 will take you from Schiphol airport to Amsterdam downtown in 30 minutes. A single bus ticket costs € 6,50, but you can also travel with the Amsterdam & Region Travel ticket, or Amsterdam Travel Ticket or other travel passes.
To get from Amsterdam airport to the city center, take the bus line 397 during the day or N97 (Niteliner) at night, from midnight to 05:00. It will take you from Schiphol Plaza to Leidseplein and Museum Square (Museumplein) in 30 minutes.

During the day, the bus every 8-15 minutes. At night the Niteliner N97 departs every hour.

How to pay for the bus?
You can buy the ticket online (€ 6,50). A return ticket costs € 11,75. You can also buy a bus ticket from the driver. Please note: the driver doesn’t accept cash, you can only pay with a bank card.
