Connexxion bus line 397 departs from the Schiphol plaza bus platform B15 – B17 (you can see the red bus departing on the photo below).

Important: The Schiphol Plaza bus station is currently being rebuilt. Some buses will be arriving and departing from different locations than travellers are used to. The new locations are indicated by signage and information at the bus stops.

You can buy the ticket online (€ 6,50). A return ticket costs € 11,75. You can also buy a bus ticket from the driver. The driver doesn’t accept cash, you can only pay with a bank card.
Connexxion bus 397 is not a part of Amsterdam public transport system (operated by GVB). That’s why Amsterdam public transport tickets are not valid on this bus. But you can buy Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket or Amsterdam Travel Ticket which are valid both on the bus line 397 and in the city.
