In 2024 the Keukenhof gardens are open from 21 March untill 12 May, including Easter weekend (31 March – 1 April), King’s Day (27 April) and Liberation Day (5 May).

Keukenhof 2024 measures

You don’t need to wear a face mask in Keukenhof. However, a maximum number of visitors will be allowed per day and the Keukenhof tickets will have fixed time slots per day. The bus tickets also have a fixed departure time.

You do need to book all tickets (entrance tickets, combi tickets, tickets + transfer and tours) in advance.

Keukenhof 2024 and timeslots

While booking an entrance ticket to Keukenhof you choose the time when you want to enter the park.

While booking a combi-ticket, the time you choose during the booking process is based on the departure of the bus. All buses departing 30 minutes before and 60 minutes after the chosen timeslot can be taken. For the buses back there are no timeslots. You can take any bus you want.

The Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket is a good option if you are planning to visit other places (Zaanse Schans, Volendam, Haarlem, Zandvoort, etc.) and use public transport in Amsterdam.

The advantage of the Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket is that you can take any Keukenhof Express bus, it’s doesn’t have a fixed departure time and gives you more flexibility.

Yes, it is. It is also open during Easter weekend and Liberation Day (5 May 2024).

How can I rent a wheelchair at Keukenhof?

Manual wheelchairs are available for rent for €5 at the Keukenhof gardens.

Use of electric wheelchairs is allowed, but they are not available for rent at Keukenhof.

Please note: you have to give a €20 cash deposit when you rent a manual wheelchair. It will be refunded when you return the wheelchair.

Are bikes allowed at the park?

No, Keukenhof is a pedestian park. But you can rent a bike at the Keukenhof parking and explore the tulip fields and bulb farms in the neighbourhood by bike.

Are dogs allowed at the park?

You can take your dog to the Keukenhof gardens, providing that he is kept on a leash. Dogs are not allowed at the pavilions and restaurants, except for guide dogs.

Is there a train station near Keukenhof?

No. But it’s easily accessible during the opening season by Keukenhof Express buses.
