Canal cruises in Amsterdam: get on a boat!
There are over 200 kinds of canal boats and dozens of canal tour companies (Stromma, Blue Boat, Lovers and many others) that can offer you a tour around the canals of Amsterdam. Most of the tours start from Stationplein or Prins Hendrikkade street, opposite Amsterdam Centraal station.
Most of canal boats start their tours at 9.00 am up to 10.00 pm. Departure times are also slightly different, but as a rule the boats start every +/- 30 minutes in summer season and every hour during the winter.

A standard 1-hour tour prices start from € 16 per person. Some boat companies offer audio guides only in the most popular languages (English, German, Dutch). While some, like Lovers, give you a chance to hear the story in your native language.
