You can already book Keukenhof tickets with direct transfer from the center of Amsterdam (from € 35).
In 2025 the Keukenhof gardens entry tickets and combi-tickets are valid for one-time entry on a specific date and time. Some dates and time slots can be sold out quickly. It makes sense to do a reservation in advance.
When is it the best time to visit Keukenhof in 2025?
To see the flower fields in bloom we recommend to come to the Netherlands from last decade of April to the first decade of May (though the exact dates are very dependent on weather). During this period the chance to see the flower fields in bloem is the highest. You will find numerous publicly accessible fields in the neighbourhood of Lisse and Hillegom.
Please note, that in 2025 the Netherlands have a late Easter, at April 20, 2025. So the peak of tulips blooming in the last two weeks of April coincides with the Easter holidays. Which means that hotel prices in the area will skyrocket. We recommend to book your accomodation in advance.

Almost every weekend during the Keukenhof opening season there are special events in the park. There are also flower show in the Keukenhof covered pavillions:

- 27 March – 1 April 2025 – Freesia and chrysanthemum show
- 3 April – 8 April 2025 – Rose show

The Keukenhof gardens tickets prices in 2025:
- entry ticket – € 20,50
- children (aged 0 to 3) – free
- children (aged 4 to 11) – € 9
Keukenhof combi-tickets (entrance + return bus ticket) in 2025 cost:
- € 36,50 if you travel from Amsterdam RAI
- € 31,50 if you travel from Schiphol
- € 31,50 from Leiden
- € 31,50 from from Haarlem, Heemstede, Hillegom
- € 18 tickets for children (4-17).
Please note that in 2025 you need to book tickets online and choose time-slot in advance. Tickets for the most popular dates (weekends and school holidays) are likely to be sold out quickly.

Bloemencorso Flower Parade in 2025
The Flower Parade will take place on 12 – 13 April 2025. It will start on 12 April 2025 around 9:15 in Noordwijk. Approximately at 14:45 the beautiful cars decorated with flowers will process to Keukenhof and around 20:55 will arrive to Haarlem. On 13 April 2025 the flower compositions will remain in Haarlem.

In 2018 the Keukenhof gardens will be open till May 13, which means they will be completely closed for the public starting from May 14.
Under the bold heading at the top of this page it clearly states –
“In 2020 Keukenhof, the world’s most beautiful spring flower garden, is open from 21 March untill 10 May. The theme of Keukenhof flower exposition in 2020 is A World of Colours.”
Hi! We come to the Netherlands in April. But we don’t know on which day we will be able to visit Keukenhof. Is it possible to buy tickets at the entrance? Or do we really need to book them online?

In 2024 it is possible to buy Keukenhof entrance tickets at the counter. But they will be more expensive than online tickets (€23 vs €20). And what’s most important – the tickets for the certain day and time will only be available if the park hasn’t reached its full capacity. So I would still recommend booking tickets online to avoid disappointment. With an online ticket you will be able to reschedule your visit until 96 hours before the visit date.
