Arriving to Texel island by car? From 1 January 2017 parking in all villages and at all entrances to the beach on Texel is paid. Paid parking applies from Monday through Sunday from 08:00 till 20:00 (including public holidays).
Payment options include the Texel e-vignette, paying per hour at the ticket machine or via a mobile parking payment app.
The Texel e-vignette
The Texel e-vignette is the most economical option for paying parking costs on Texel. The price in 2021 is €10 per day, €20 per week or €30 per year.
The card for one week is valid for 8 days. The Texel annual e-vignette purchased after 1 December 2020 is valid for 365 days.
How does the Texel e-vignette work?
You can order the Texel e-vignette online or buy it from a parking ticket machine. During the purchase process you will be required to enter your license plate number.
You do not receive a sticker. The Texel parking officers can scan the number plates of your car and see that you have bought a Texel e-vignette.
Parking per hour
The hourly parking rate on Texel in 2021 is € 2,50. You can pay it at the parking machine with your bank card. Paying with cash or coins is not possible.
Important! At some locations in the village centres on Texel a two-hour maximum parking time applies. Here you have to use the blue parking disc to indicate your arrival time.

You can use mobile apps like Yellowbrick or ParkMe to pay for your parking on Texel.
