IMPORTANT: In 2026, there are NO Keukenhof buses 858 departing from the airport. You need to travel from Schiphol to Hoofddorp (it’s about 5 minutes by train or 10 minutes by bus 300 or 397) and catch bus 859 to Keukenhof from there.

There are several types of tickets valid on the bus line 858:

- Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket
- Holland Travel Ticket
Please note: in 2025 Keukenhof buses will be operated by Qbuzz, not Arriva. You can buy Keukenhof combi-tickets online. Amsterdam & Region Travel ticket is also valid on the bus line 858.
Tip! If you are planning a visit to the Netherlands in March, April or May, make sure you book tickets to the most popular venues and museums (like the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, the Anne Frank house). The time that you choose during the booking process is based on departure with the express bus 858 (operated by Qbuzz company) from Schiphol airport. All buses departing 30 minutes before and 60 minutes after the chosen timeslot can be taken.
The first bus from Schiphol Airport to Keukenhof departs at 7:45. The last bus back from Keukenhof is at 20:06.
The bus line 858 Schiphol airport – Keukenhof departs up to 6 times an hour.
Please note that Keukenhof combi tickets are sold with a 30 minutes interval. While the public transport is operating on their own schedule, you can check it at 9292.nl.

Hi, you say that you cannot buy a ticket on board from a driver, but if you can pay with OV pay you can just use your bank card to tap on/off to pay for the ticket (without needing to book or pay in advance), please can you clarify?

Hi! No, unfortunately a ticket with a pre-booked timeslot doesn’t guarantee you a seat on the bus. On a busy day you might still need to wait in line.
