Hi Glen! These tickets for the 2025 season are not available yet. It’s expected that they will go for sale in the second half of February.
Last year it was also possible to pay for bus 854 with OV-pay (so just with a bank card), but I don’t know yet how this will work in 2025.
OK, that’s great, thank you for your help. We are in the UK coming over for a holiday and attending the parade so it’s parade day we need to book the bus 854 for. Will there be a link on this page to book bus 854 from Leiden Centraal to Keukenhof do you know as yet and should we book in advance or could we attend Leiden Centraal on the day and hope to get a seat? I’m assuming not because of the popularity of this event? We do not have OV pay for info. Many thanks again.
Yes, sure, I will publish a link to the bus tickets as soon as they become available. In general it’s possible to take the bus without prior booking. But you are right, on a day of the flower parade I would definitely book it in advance, just to be sure and to avoid surprises at boarding.

I’m not very familiare with the Tourist Day Ticket. I’ve checked on their website and it says it’s valid in Alphen aan den Rijn, Delft, Den Haag, Dordrecht, Drechtsteden, Gouda/Lisse, Leiden, Op Voorne Putten, Rotterdam, Zeeland, Zoetermeer. So they mention both Leiden and Lisse (where Keukenhof is located) but don’t mention Keukenhof in particular. I find it a bit confusing. I think it’s better to ask their customer support directly to be sure.
